Interview with Paul Dutton, REPOST.

No regular scheduled show this week, but no worries, cause we have a special treat for you: This fall, at FAF 2010 we sat down with assistant director and animation director on The Illusionist, Paul Dutton. All though jet-lagged, Paul was very forthcoming and talkative on the subject of making The Illusionist together with Sylvain Chomet.

Thanks to Paul Dutton for doing the interview, and to The Fredrikstad Animation Festival for supplying a room for us to do our interviews.

We will be back in a couple of weeks, hopefully with the regularly scheduled biweekly news-show.

The ACP-team are having a blast at the festival. Day 3 was another great day in Fredrikstad with fascinating and diverse seminars and a fantastic atmosphere. Great talks on “the Illusionist”, “Shrek forever after”, “Madame Tutli-Putli” and “Higglety Pigglety Pop!” and still two more days to go!

Day 2
Today was a hard day, too much tequila yesterday seriously depleted our ability to take photographs… No Flash! Bright lights! So we spent all day in the dark cinema/lecture halls listening to Nordic companies present their work and what their future projects will be.
